Best Buy is having a closeout on this paticular set before the new ones come in The biggest difference between the two is the new one has a DVI input in the back My family room is medium size and I sit about 8-10 ft from the TV Will I be satisifed with the size and Pic quality I hear Mits. are excellent TVs By the way its a 16:9

Model #? or Link?

"Will I be satisifed with the size and Pic quality?" Only you can answer that.

I have the 46807 model and it has a great picture. After having it calibrated by a pro (from www.hometheaterspot.com ) It really showed what it can do. Friends always comment on what a great true to llife picture it has. Can't beat the 16X9 format, even for 4X3 programs that are stretched. Watching DVD's on a good progressive player is almost like watching HD.

I would recommend that you get a set with a DVI jack if you can. There's a remote possibility that some HD program you want (probably a PPV) will be down-rezed if you're not using the DVI connection.

The 2004 models all end in the number 13.

They have the DVI port.

I would get one of the new ones.

I have the ws-55313.

Looks great
