As i thought, Charlie have more likely mispoken at Charlie Chat (re: HD at 121)
At today's Retailer Chat - he clearly stated and then expanded somewhat on the fact that "New locals, and HD channels" will be at 105, and that lots of new Internationals will eventually be at 121

Thanks Darkman, any more info from the Chat that you are at liberty to divulge?

Do you have any info on availability of the DishPro bandstacked Ku/FSS LNBF for 105 and 121? I'm preparing to split my distribution system from a dual 3:4 DishPro system (8 receivers) to one 105/110/119 3:4 system for HDTV and a 61.5(or 121)/110/119 3:4 system for my non-HD receivers. I'd rather shell out for two LNBF's for my two 90 cm. dishes than for two Superdishes that I have to monut and point. I already picked up another DISH 500 antenna cheap off eBay. I don't want to wait for the 4:4 switches and software to be released so I can tie everything together. I'll do that later.

I always thought it was just a mispeak. It was too fun watching everyone fall over themselves on that one.

I really liked those who thought that Dish was falling apart and was in chaos because of it too. :D

If it is on 105, then I am SO hosed! :( I can't see 110, let alone 105.
Not only no HD, but since I can't see 110, then I can not get the Everything package, which means that I will have to pay the DVR fee if I ever upgrade from my 501. Alaska is getting the short end of the stick on this.
I will wait until the Sept chat, but it may be time for me to do some research on D* and find out if I can see their HD signals.
Give us locals, then take way HD.
I have a solution: Launch one satellite that has a neutrino transmitter on it. :D Since neutrinos pass right thru the earth, everybody could see it. Just think, no more rain fade, no problem with trees, buildings etc. I will leave the problem of building a neutrino transmitter and antennas to the E* engineers.
