On ekb.dbstalk.com it states that MCN 2 is a new channel on channel 9603. Does anyone know what channel is this about?

It says on EKB - it should be available to subscribers...
But i do not think it is - not currently anyhow (or something)

I wonder - if it still exists at Dish, if it is only Free-to-Air for now (or something...)

Hmm - from the above's link - it shows as some French Channel ...located in France..

Hmm - EKB says ch 9603 ... Well, i do not see it there... and if it is some International channel - that EPG's location doesn't make much sense to me also...

Oh well, .. we'll see what happens i guess...

!!!! - P.S. - ahaha - i just checked EKB and the above link (in above post) would be wrong - cuz the EKB says MCN2, and NOT MCM2 :)

in this case - who knows what EPG letters MCN2 stand for ...but ch 9603 location would make more sense :)

First, it is MCN2 not MCM2.

Second, it is in the Business TV area. Not many of us are "subscribers" to those services.

Third, it may be a data service.

Fourth, it could be associated with
http://www.marketconnect.tv/home.htm

Fifth, I can't receive it either, maybe. :)

Sixth, maybe it is there and not launched yet.

All this maybe wore me out. :)

I get MCN on Comcast here. Its owned by Lenfest that owns WWAC-DT. Two annoying infomercial channels taking analog bandwith space. MCN has news headlines as a scroll however. Atleast MCN is better than getting ACN.

NEWS: I have found out that MCN2 is probably for McDonalds. Looking ahead at the listings for the BTV channels, there is a program called "MCN2:MNGR Monopoly - Managers' and the info says 'Special Event for McDonalds.'
