Stupid question, but since the online manual doesn't answer it, I've gotta ask it.
On my 501, Mr. Blinky comes on 5 minutes before a recording event to let me know that I have a program that is about to record. It's a single tuner DVR.
Now, I'm about to switch over to HDVR2. I've read the PDF manual, but I have some unanswered questions.
What happens if I'm watching the DirecTV promos channel, and I have two program events scheduled for say Tuesday at 9 PM. (A new episode of 24 AND a new Adult Swim Anime). What happens then?
And, along the same lines, in the same situation, I have recording AND two back-to-back Adult Swim programs. If I program NO overlap time, will the DirecTivo record both Adult Swim programs gracefully?
