I have two new Samsung sir-s300w receivers. Every night at about the same time, when I tune to a channel on tp 29 such as ESPN2, I will get a brief 2-5 second "searching for satellite signal" message, then my picture will appear. It is doing it on both receivers so I have ruled out a receiver problem. It is ONLY doing it on tp 29 channels and it is NOT constant. Sometimes I tune to those channels with no problem at all. I have narrowed it down to lnb/multiswitch or a problem on D*'s end with all of the other transponder problems they are having. In my experience with bad lnb/multiswitches, when they are bad, you get across the board problems, not one single transponder. My signal on TP 29 is high 80s. It just seems that sometimes the receiver is not immediately picking up the signal when I tune to it. Once I get the picture, it never breaks up or pixelates. Anybody else having a problem. And to the techies on this board, does this sound consistent with an lnb or multiswitch? D* just upgraded my dish on Monday. Thanks.
