Please fix it so it loads the latest version.

Now have to wait for the timer refresh or hit refresh which does refresh everything, but downloads new icons as well and wastes time.
.
Maybe a settings problem? I have not changed those.

Try clearing out your cache, that should fix it for you. :D

It worked for the first instance only, of course.

One thing missing from the upgrade was that if you had new private messages when you hit the home page, a pop-up box would appear on the page saying that you have new messages do you want to see them now.

Or, am I missing something. It does work when I'm browsing the board.

Correct that popup wont work on the front page.

It will work on the rest of the page though.

I understand that the next beta it should improve what we can do on the front page. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Apparently you don't know how to fix the problem or I am not stating the problem correctly. Here is another attempt. One can go away from the site for a while and return to the start page and the most recent posts is not changed. Other sites do this correctly and this site used to do this correctly.

Anytime the start page is selected the most recent posts should be current.

I don't see the same issue that you do...

Mind you, i don't have the access to fix it, either. my last posts refreshes just fine.

Its nothing we can fix at this point.

The code to do this was just "thrown in" to the code by the folks at Vbulletin by the request of folks like me.

Again they are working on a more robust "content syndication system" to be released in a future version which should take care of the cacheing problem some peoples browsers are having.

Also remember if you think you are seeing an old page press and hold CTRL and click refresh, this will force a reload of the page no matter what is in your cache. :)
