"Lie to Me" and "Human Target"

Fox dramas "Lie to Me" and "Human Target" are both receiving 13 episode orders for next season. I gues wether they get the "back 9" will depend on how they do, but at least they will be back.

The Lie To Me renewal surprises me... why burn off original episodes over the summer (instead of running them in first run on Friday night, even) if you're going to go ahead and renew the series? Strange.

Human Target makes a lot of sense. It could be the new '24' afaic.

Ratings for Human Target have been dwindling. Plus it's an expensive show to produce. I watch Lie to Me, but not sure how the quality will sustain since Shawn Ryan (The Shield) will no longer be involved.
