Which of these should I buy? The one on top is noted to be specifically for DECA. The bottom is the one in all documentation I've seen here.

Either one will work with the DECA adapter. The one on top is what the installer used for my broadband DECA.

The upper one is what DirecTV uses now for the DECA router.

Did your installer use the "New" Broadband Deca or merely use a standard deca for the connection to the Router?
Would like to know just what this New Broadband Deca looks like....
You dont have a picture do you..???

Not sure they're out yet, but they look like a router that lays flat.

I have often wondered what would happen if I threw a weasel into the works, so, here goes.

Thanks for the Picture and the availability Update
So a SWiM power inserter (21 Volts) will power a DECA? And it won't catch on fire?

You dont have a picture do you..???Had an installer here today, who claim he couldn't install the broadband, because his shop didn't have this broadband DECA.
So I'm a big ME TOO! Like a part number along with any pix.

Just a plain DECA adapter works just fine.

Is the DECA adapter on top of having a power inserter for SWiM?
Why don't they just use the top for for HR20-100 installs instead of all the problems and confusion they have now?

Any DECA adapter not connected to a receiver (the one to bridge the DECA cloud to the internet) needs a power inserter. This is in addition to the SWM power inserter.
