Please Help Me,please! I Cant Get Rid Of This Message!help!

PLEASE HELP ME,EV-VER-RY-TIME I start my computer I get the message Windows cannot find:

File:C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe

This is a HUGE PROBLEM FOR ME!

It is also causing MY COMPUTER TO START UP SLOWLY,Before it was 1 sec,Now its like 2 minutes with repeated delays,
ALSO I feel like this is affecting MY INTERNET,MY INTERNET FREEZES FOR NO REASON,IT NEVER DID THAT BEFORE,ALSO MY ACTIVE DESKTOP WILL FREEZE DEAD OUT OF NOWHERE Forcing me to Reboot

NOW LET ME TELL YOU THIS,I dont think this is related to the BLASTER WORM,WHY? Because I did have that worm but I also have Acted Upon it

FIRST:I NOW HAVE NORTON SYSTEMWORKS 2003,The first time I ran this program I found out that I had 89 VIRUSES, I WAS SHOCKED! But it fixed them ALL,ALSO I performed all the little EXTRA features I can with the software Cleansweep,Utilities YOU NAME IT!I still have this problem!I have even DOWNLOADED THE PATCH FROM MICROSOFT --AND-- CLEARED ANY TRACES OF THE BLASTER WORM FROM MY COMPUTER,I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG,AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO NAVIGATE A REGISTRY,SO THIS IS WHY I PLEASE ASKING FOR HELP,I DONT HAVE TIME FOR| THESE PROBLEMS! YA KNOW!I EVEN ACTIVATED THE BUILT IN FIREWALL! BECAUSE I HAVE WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL

NOW,IF THERE IS ANYTHING ANYBODY KNOWS THAT CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE HELP RIGHT AWAY!PLEASE!

You are in no danger Adam. You hada worm that tried to use explorer to launch a file called system32.exe. When you cleaned trhe viruses it deleted the file but that line is still in your registry. So your system is still trying to run it.

I sugest that you get into regedit and use the search function to find a line that says EXPLOERE.exe C:\system32\sysytem32.exe. You should delete that lline. There is already a thread---two in fact on this.

Im not sure what to do though,This is what I did,I went to the registry edit,Clicked Edit,Clicked find,typed Explorer.exe,And A bunch of complicated things showed up,Im not sure what to look for but I saw something that said (userinit REG_SZ C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe) Please tell me this is it.If it isnt,Please tell me what to do,Im still online so Ill be looking every 2 minutes because im sick of this crap!

HEY I FOUND A FILE CALLED EXPLORER.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe! I deleted it immediately,So im assuming this is what you meant!Please tell me the problem is fixed now! PLEASE!

By the way,For anybody having problems,this is what I did,in the registry editer,I clicked EDIT then, FIND, entered C;\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe and pressed enter I located the file EXPLORER.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe i then right clicked it and DELETED IT then I went to FILE then EXIT

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! It has worked! I NO LONGER GET THAT ANNOYING MESSAGE AND MY COMPUTER IS BACK TO NORMAL!YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS AGAIN!This had been bothering me for 2weeks now!YEEEEEEEEEEEES! its gone finally!
