I'm not too pleased with Ellen or Randy & Cara on song choices, especially Ellen.

Lee's was OK, but I'm really tired of that song, to the point that it has become a cliche of sorts.

Crystal - Led Zeppelin's - "When the levee breaks"

You know how some of the 'artsy' singers will put a track of silence on their album?

Yeah. That. I'd chose silence.

I'm not too pleased with Ellen or Randy & Cara on song choices, especially Ellen. Yeah, Crystal did the best she could with it but it didn't do her any favors. I thought she sounded lovely as the song began, singing lyrically, but then as the song inevitably called for more volume and force she morphed into a strained shouter. She did hit all the higher notes in tune and all but it was more shouting than singing. I like Crystal singing softly, I don't like Crystal singing loudly.

Apparently Simon Cowell bought the rights to it (after Jason Castro sang it a few seasons ago) so that's one reason we keep hearing it on A.I. now.
