Broken 6000 receiver, where to buy new power supply board?

hi guys.

Not sure why but my dish 6000 crapped out on me. I replaced the power supply board and it worked fine but now I have an extra 6000 without a board. Can anybody point me in the right direction??

Wow...I had no idea.

I called and after 20 minutes...they couldnt find the part # for a power supply board but for $19.95 (and free shipping) they are going to send me a new 6000 receiver with a UPS label for sending the old one back to Dish. Fkn A! Shipping is supposed to be 2nd day air.

PS: the Dish Employee was trying to get me to buy the monthly warranty service for $2? monthly. Why bother when $19.95 will get you a brand new unit??? Dont figure.

How old was the old one. Was it still in warranty.

3 years old...no warranty.

I just got back from Florida last nite and there it was...a brand new 6000 in a sealed box! :-)

Now to package up the old one and fire it back to them...
