I have two new Samsung sir-s300w receivers. On BOTH receivers when I tune to a channel on transponder 29 such as ESPN2, I get a brief 2-5 second "searching for satellite" message and then my picture comes in. Once I get my picture I do not lose it and it does not breakup, pixelate, etc. I had D* send a tech out and he changed the phase III lnb/multiswitch, to no avail. The only thing I am thinking that it could be at this point is a problem on D*'s end. I have read about all of the problems on various transponders they are having right now. My signal on transponder 29 stays in the upper 80s to lower 90s. It just seems that the receivers are having a problem initially locking on to this transponder. Once they do they stay locked. Does anyone have a thought about what it could be other than signal integrity problems on D*s end. With both receivers having the same problem on one transponder BEFORE and AFTER changing the lnb, I am suspicious of D*s response "there is no problem on our end, it must be your equipment. Please unplug the receiver for 15 to 20 seconds." Please help. Thanks.
