Question on installing the Directv tivo service

I am interested in gettign the directv Tivo special that they are running right now which is $179 for the DVR, and $5 a month for the subscrption. My set up is a trple LNB dish with the family room geting one feed for the HDTV set up and the bedroom gets the other LNB cable. I am seeing that to get the msot out of the DVr you need to run two cables from the satellite to the dvr unit. Do I need to get another multi switch so I can split the signal again and run two feeds into the dvr, and if I do does it need to be installed at the dish or can it be installed close to the DVR, thanks

Your triple LNB dish has a 4-output switch already. Since you are using only 2 outputs now, run two more lines from the switch's remaining outputs to the room where the DirecTiVo will be and you are all set.
