I am scheduled for a Dish Upgrade/Realignment (Sidecar-4w to Slimline-4w)on Tues. 6/1/10. (50% chance of pm t-storms). But since this was scheduled, I am having problems with an HR21/100 (Recond.) that replaced an HR20/100.I talked to D* CSR and explained I needed bigger HD storage, But, I discovered storage is the same on HR20 and HR21
Anyhow, I swapped RG6 cables, B-Band converters, changed positions on Zinwell DB68 switch and checked all RG6 connectors. I get a 920 error and it hangs on "Acquiring signal/guide"
Can should I contact D* to add this to the Dish Upgrade, or should I just let the tech troubleshoot/replace it with the Dish Upgrade? (What's the odds they'll have an HR24 on the truck?)

TIA,
sgibson

920 errors are due to not receiving a signal on 119, which I'm guessing is blocked by trees or something. The installer is likely to replace the LNB with an SL3 anyway, so that won't be a problem anymore.

Battlezone, thanks for the feedback.
I should mention I get good reception on HD20 and HR22, but Test shows Dish Alignment needed. (Sighting down the dish arm, neighbor's tree looks in the clear). On the HR21 I'm not getting anything but ..."Acquring Guide Data". It hangs there.
