Sorry you must contract with DNSC for the install but they will have it in yesterday for you.

Yeah, but you'll need another SuperDuper Dish if you want locals.

You'll need the new Dish 100000 (nicknamed the 100-grand) receiver in order to receive a signal. All existing Dish equipment will not be supported (even those who purchased the 1BIGDAMNDISH module for the 6000). Pricing for the 100000 is "still yet to be determined." There will be an upgrade for existing customers -- it will utilize the new "Club Autopay" where you receive credit for signing up your friends for CC autopay.

Tune in for next month's Charlie Chat for exciting news ! (maybe).

Is it compatible with E* legacy receivers or do you need a special adapter? If it won't work with DishPlayer I am switching to D* :rolling:

I want one, but ONLY if I can be guaranteed to be the first one on my block with one. Then again, maybe it would take up the whole block. Time to buy some more real estate.

The Aracebo Placebo for the Dish bandwidth starved junkie.

It takes a Super Duper Switch. At least I have no rain fade problems.

Go Arecibo Dish Go!!

DDRio, maybe you could be a beta tester, since the first install is pretty much in your backyard. Just run some cable over and ask them to hook you up? ;)

Unless it becoming a swimming pool becoming full of water would cause rain fade.

I got it now.... They install one of these in every state. Everone runs a cable from their house to the dish and you get all the chanels that you want.

....... wait a minute!!! That is CABLE!!!!!

Now we know Charlies "upgrade" plan.

The good news is Dish got rid of their DVR fees, but, now you have to pay property taxes on your dish!

Sure! You suspend the apartment complex above the dish and the landlord will be none the wiser.

DENVER POST
Business News
August 22, 2003

Investigative reporters have discovered that DishNetwork of Littleton, is secretly building a huge Levittown-style residential and multi-use development in southern Wyoming. Said to offer upscale, hi-tech housing for up to one million families, the development will be centered around a large, circular pit. Analysts are studying satellite imagery of the site to determine what the pit will be used for, although some say it will be the world's largest swimming pool in the summer and the world's largest skating rink during cold winter months.

Inside sources confirm that EchoStar Corp. is planning more than 20 such massive pre-wired housing developments at strategic locations around the U.S. Unnamed military sources say that NORAD's Air Defense Command (ADC), located at Colorado Springs, south of Denver will be converted to a secure customer service center, as ADC facilities are relocated to empty KMart stores in an effort to deconsolidate America's air defense capability.
