Hello all. I have a concern once the 811 comes out. I currently have a 508 in my living room and a 301 in my bedroom. My question is, what do i have to do so I can use both the 508 and 811 in my living room?? Since there is only one RG6 cable coming from the wall. What would I need to do to have both of them hooked up? Since there is only one RG6 cable, do I have to unscrew the sat cable from the 508 to use the 811???? Surely there is another way. If anyone knows anything that can help me out, let me know please!! Thanks everyone.

You'll need another cable coming from your switch or your dish to your living room. You cannot split the signal from one cable...yet...

I say yet because next year you will be able to use a dishpro diplexor to to run 2 tuners off the same line. But, it's not available yet. For now, you'll have to run another coax line into your living room.

But you can use ordinary diplexers to "backfeed" the 508 from another location (like your bedroom if you swap it with your 301). Then you could watch what was on the PVR from either your TV tuner or the 811's analog Ch 3.
