Hey All

Ive got a couple of E* 301's and a BEV 3100.
When I set the timers to change stations while I'm gone, for 5 minutes before the timer is ready to change, there is a clock that blinks in the left hand corner. I know if I'm home I can just hit "Select" twice and it disappears, but is there a way to permanently disable that blinking clock? I recorded 3 programs off BEV that were consecutive (noon, 1 & 2..3 different stations)and 5 minutes before the program was done, that damn blinking clock was on there...

Is it possible to disable it, or am I outta luck?

Thanks!

You are out of luck. While home, you can also hit cancel to rid yourself of "Mr. Blinky."

Pete is right. Out of luck. I think the 721 is the only receiver that you can disable Mr. Blinky.

Same annoying problem with caller ID display (at least on my 301). Maybe one day the SW will be smart enough to not display it while recording. Or has that feature already been done and I didn't notice?

xgrep you can turn off the caller ID before you set the timer that is a menu function. Mr. Blinky dosen't have any option except not setting the timer.
