I have a 2800 with V7.67. It has local channel mapping. Today, I just another upgrade notification. According to the Dish website, they are once again regressing back to V7.66.
2700/3700/2800 | 7.66 8/22/2003 | 7.67 6/24/2003
This is the second time that they have recalled 7.67. Anyone with a 2700/2800/3700 taken this new upgrade/downgrade? If so, is it really back to 7.66?
The first attempt at 7.67 back in June had local channel mapping, but produced a bug that would cause the receiver to intermittently lock up when using the channel up/down keys. It was recalled a few days after release. The second attempt at 7.67 in July returned local channel mapping, but introduced a channel 0 bug. However, I only locked up on channel 0 once, and since then, the receiver has been rock-solid stable.
