I just checked my guide and only see the SD channels, so it's thanks, but no thanks for me.

CNN just did a live segment from the line outside of the building where MJ was laid to rest.

Odd. HBO East is still not available to me but the other ones are. I'm on Top 120 w/ HD Free.

The same here. There never seems to be anything good on the HBO previews. Turner Classic Movies trumps HBO anyday.

E* is only giving 3 HBO channels while other providers are doing all HBO and Cinemax channels this weekend.

Even E*'s add on 102 mentions "Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past" which isn't on HBO this weekend
but... is on Cinemax this weekend.

The HBO Preview was very limited in worthwhile content, if they really want to a attract new customers with their free preview weekends, which seem to be fewer and fewer, unless I missed a couple (possible) they need to but some better content on display.

If it is too good it could be considered "false advertising". A slightly better than average weekend so the choices are not disappointing but also not overpromising and under delivering. At least if they want to attract new long term customers.

As for this weekend, I believe it was chosen more as a "fathers day reward" than a push for new subscribers.
