View Full Version : Can I suscribe to HDTV package only?
Will I be able to suscribe to the HDTV package ala-carte, without having to also have AT50 or above? I have cable modem service from Comcast and unfortunately they require a minimum tv service subscription anyway. Since we already have the basic package from them, there is really no need to duplicate services on Dish. But it looks like Dish will have better HD offerings so I would like to take advantage of that when available with the 811.

No one knows, but we can all speculate.

I think that with Dish, you can subscribe to packages individually. If you don't have a minimum packages such as AT50, then they do charge a fee. I think its about $5 - $10 bucks. Someone here will correct me I'm sure.

It's $5.
No one knows, but we can all speculate.I'll second that answer. For now, you can subscribe to just DiscoveryHD, and of course PPV-HD is always there. Not a great selection, but I've actually considered it.
