I remember reading a post a good while back pertaining to strapping an lnbf to the twin lnbf on a Dish500 on the 110 side to get the DirecTv satellite signal in as well all on the same dish. I could not manage to get that to work. Is there any particular things that a person needs to know other than strapping that onto the twin lnbf to get that to work? I had the skew set at what it was to tune in 110 and 119 for Dish Network.
Oh, now I see what you're up to. Ignore my post in the other thread about 2 TWINS on a D500.
Yeah, I remember what you're talking about. I thought I saved a picture of that but I can't find it.

What there here? Must have been. I can see that picture in my mind.
Now that I think about it, weren't they strapping another LNBF on a 3-LNBF D* dish to get ExpressVu?

Yes, I also remember seeing a picture of them doing that before as well. All of this could also lead up to figuring out whether or not people could add an lnbf to the SuperDish to pick up the other slot for a total of four slots instead of three (105, 110, 119 - adding one to get 121 and vice versa).

Since you mentioned a Dish500 I didn't post this earlier, but here's the link to the one dish solution for D*/E*/BEV. But the dish antenna MUST be the older DirecTV Plus 24" dish, the Dish 500 is too small.

I don't understand the point of trying to make a home brew superdish though, if it's even possible. Between the money spent on a D* elliptical and KU FSS LNBs and the time and effort trying to get the thing to actually work, it would be much simpler just to get the superdish and be done with it.

It depends on what the pricing for the dish will be as to whether some would try to do such things. I do agree that it would be a better option to purchase the SuperDish. I figure there will be special promotions for this dish for new and existing customers wanting to purchase the locals and/or HD. Also some are interested in trying new things to see what works.
Do they have larger DirecTv Paratodos dishes? If so how wide and tall are they?

Channelmaster makes a 75 cm dish called the Gain Master that is intended for D* use.
