I'm a fan of Dexter & Californication, but for movies, I'd also go with Starz.

For about the same price as a movie channel on cable or satellite can one not get thousands more movies on Netflix?

There are new instant viewing and streaming options every day. The whole setup is to complicated for my old mind to grasp. I cannot keep up with them but my spouse just plugs here laptop into the TV and starts watching movies using my subscription which costs a bit more than six dollars a month including taxes.

I gotta agree with this. Plus, if you have an XBox or Wii, you can stream through them to the TV.
