Finally, the WB is moving from ABC 24 WPTY to UPN 30 WLMT in Memphis. WB programming will begin at 10:00pm rather than the current 11:00pm start time. The move is scheduled for the beginning of the upcoming season. It will be great to see Jimmy Kimmel at a normal time.

Did Memphis ever have that cable-only WB satellite service? (Isn't it supposed to be for markets ranked #101 and higher?)

At one time Memphis did have the WB cable only service, but it was discontinued. Time Warner cable said it had nothing to do with WPTY, but rather they were told from the top not to carry it. http://www.twarner.com/about/faqs_and_news/wbnetwork.shtml
When it was available, customers could watch the WB twice a night, much like having the networks from both coasts.

Tough luck for Mid Southerners, WPTY will still not show Jimmy Kimmel Live at the normal time.
