I am located in Maui, Hawaii. I was told dish 500 wouldn't work to look at 110 & 119 birds. I installed a 24" dish with a dual LNB (for sat 119) and a 30" dish with a dual LNB (for sat 110). I use two SW21 switches and I run the two feeds from the switces to two 508 Receivers, one up stairs, one down.
I want to replace one of the 508's with a 722 dual tuner receiver. However, I only have one feed going to the location. From what I'm told I can't separate the feed I have now going to my 508 receiver.
I'm wondering; if I were to change out my 119 dish LNB to the DishPro Plus twin LNB and run the 110 dish output into the 119 LNB input. If so, I could eliminate the SW21 switches and both sat feeds from the Dish Pro Plus LNB ports could be used for a single tuner or with a separator for use with dual tuner receivers. Would this work?

With DISH dishes everything has to be legacy or everything has to be DishPRO (or DishPro Plus).
If you put a DishPRO Plus LNB (with an input) on one dish you'll need a DishPRO LNB on the other dish. There is a specific input that is used on that LNB. The two outputs can be run one each to your separate receivers. The second "eye" of the DishPRO Plus LNB would be pointing at nothing.
Or you could get a different switch, run all four cables (two from each current LNB) to a SW44 or SW64 switch then two cables off to the 722 and one off to the other receiver. (The 722 can use legacy feeds).
Personally I'd probably put a single or dual DishPRO LNB on each dish and get a DP34 to combine the two (still two cables to the 722) or a DPP44 (one cable to the 722).

You'd need to replace BOTH LNBs with DP Duals and use a Dish-Pro switch to combine the signals (I'd recommend a DPP33 switch).

Replace one dish with the Dish 500H. Replace the other's LNB with a DP Dual and aim it at 129 to get more HD channels. Run all 3 LNBs to a DPP33 switch.
Hawaii gets all their HD from 110 and 119, they do not need 129.

Hawaii gets all their HD from 110 and 119, they do not need 129.There is a Hawaii spot on 129 with several transponders beaming HD toward Hawaii. (ConUS 129 does not cover Hawaii.)

Where could I get a Dish 500H and I'm guessing with a skew it looks at 110 & 119. Is that right?

Do they get, for example, BBC in HD on those two sats?
