Ok, I have a few questions.
First, I was wondering if anyone has any information on the Lincoln, Nebraska locals that are supposed to be coming by the end of the year? Second, I live in the "Lincoln & Hstngs-Krny Plus" market. Lincoln is about 150 miles away from us. If they do get locals in Lincoln, does that mean that we should be able to receive them too if we are in the same market?
And last, I know Dish Network has CBS in HDTV. Who qualifies for it? If I have locals from Dish Network, can I get it? If I have distants from Dish Network, can I get it? Also, are there any plans for NBC, ABC, and Fox in the near future?

Fox 42 and WB15 which are owned by Pappas are in still in a 6 Month long contract dispute so you will not see them soon on Dishnetwork.
You will see them soon on Direct TV.
The aguement is over the other Pappas station on the west cost. Dish put the Pappas spanish station on the 148 Degree wing Sat (requires the free 2nd dish). Pappas is not happy with this and has refused ALL Pappas station (covers about 15% of the county).
I will call the Omaha Fox KPTM 42 and complain.
As for your Two Local Linconln stations, you will need to wait for the new Super Dish for Channels ABC-8 and CBS-10.
Your NBC-6 is already on Dishnetwork you can get it today.
Your PBS is on the 148 Degree Wing Sat already.

I just check our address and an address in Lincoln on DishNetwork.com, and both say that there are no locals.
Regarding CBS-HD from DISH... Unless you are in the New York or Los Angeles DMA, you can only receive CBS-HD if your DMA is one of the 17 CBS owned and operated (O&O) broadcasters (approx. 34% of the US "qualifies" for CBS-HD). You can go to http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/programming/locals/cbshd/index.shtml to find out more information. As for the other networks (ABC, NBC).... right now, no, you won't get these (as they are not available). One would hope that these networks would "see the light" and come up with a way (as did CBS) to provide this service to their paying customers (you and I who watch their commercials). The 17 markets served by CBS O&O stations are: Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Marquette, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Green Bay, so you probably do not qualify. Hang in there....
