I have a couple PPV movies that have been in the purcahse menu for about 2-3 months. How do I get them out of there so they will show up on my bill. I have a phone line connected and did make sure it is working. This happended to me once before except the movies were 4-5 months old. I called Dish at that time and they told me that after I watch a movie I need to go to the purchases menu and this will activate the receiver to upload the info to Dish. I have tried all weekend going in the puchases and nothing is working.
You shouldn't have to go into the purchases menu to activate the phone call. I hear my boxes clicking at random times throughout the day. May be a loose phone connection. I'm not in front of my box right now, but try doing the system diagnostics and check the phone line.

Sometimes, when things are ripe enough, you can go to the diagnostics menu (on a 301, anyway) and select "call", not "check phone", and it will clear. Sometimes, it's not ripe and won't harvest. No idea what gives, but they eventually do get billed. Once it took over 4 months, rarely less than 2.

I have done the phone test and it checked out OK, will perform the other tests though.

I know a customer that purchased the wrestling ppv's each month and one month he would have none show up on the bills then another month two would show up. Not good for those on a budget to have all the ppv's show up at once.

Dish doesn't have enough phone lines for the receivers to call into! The receiver tries to dial out and gets a busy signal!

Happened to me and sure enough, what others say is true...there are not enough phone lines to handle all the calls sometimes but I was informed by dish at one time to try to pull my card, wait a few minutes and then put it back in and turn the system on again, after my signal was restored, I powered off the receiver again and waited about 15 minutes. Basically pulling the card forced a dial out and the purchases soon disappeared from my receiver's menu and showed up on my bill where they belonged.
I can't believe Dish has not enabled a feature to allow you to manually force a dialout for PPV's.

If you really need to dial it out then you can call Dish and have them send a command through a signal to your receiver to tell it to dial out the PPV's. I have had to do this before with someone's receiver and it worked.

It didn't. I'm going to try the "remove card" trick and see if that works. That would be a nice little trick.

I had NHL Center Ice still listed in the purchase screen on my two 501's as of two months ago even though it had been paid in full over the first three months of last seasons pro hockey season.
