Signal Strength

I have been experiencing loss of signal during thunderstorms. I often times lose signal when rain is threatening. It does not have to be a heavy rain for me to lose the signal. I checked my signal strength and for the three satellites I have signal strength in the 30's and 40's. Is this normal?

I checked my signal strength and for the three satellites I have signal strength in the 30's and 40's. Is this normal?30's and 40's on a good day? Very low. 60's and 70's would be better.
