AARGGHHH No working D Tivo displays

Tried best buy and radio shack. No working displays at all. Jen and me want to try it out in the store. This gets tougher and tougher:(

Any pittsburgh places have a working display?

Try some of the "higher end" elecctronic stores (the ones that sell REALLY expensive systems). The ones in my area have a "room" with the systems set up and you can take your time trying out the system. Also check with your friends and neighbors. I have a couple of neighbors (that live within a block of me) that have TiVo systems and (knowing TiVo devotees) if you find a neighbor that has one they will likely be very glad to show it to you.

Bob did you try Circuit City? Two of the three Buffalo area Circuit City's had a DTiVo set up for demo use last time I was in them. Granted it has been a while, and the one CC that didn't have the DTiVo model on display was the smallest one. Oddly enough though the one area Circuit City Express store did have a one but replaced it a while back with the Samsung S75.

According to someone I know who works at Circuit City, they can't keep them in stock. He said that it looks like word is finally getting out on how good a product the TiVos are.

Directv also puts a demo loop on showroom TIVOs making them harder to use in the showroom.
