Whatever happened to the JVC HD PVR?

I remember talk about a JVC HD PVR that would have no OTA capabilities and less capacity than the 921, but would otherwise be the same and cost less. Is this still going to be made?

I live in a complete hole when it comes to OTA signals, and I don't need to keep 120+ hours of television recorded on my box, so if this is still being developed, it would be the perfect solution.

Also, if it's still in development, will it be subject to E*'s new DVR fee structure?

I haven't seen or heard it "officially" but the word is that JVC decided not to go ahead with it. No doubt there will be a JVC version of the DVR921 at Sears.
