Reportedly E has raised the limit of receivers on one account to 8 from its previous 6.


Its wonderful to post something nice about E!!!

Bob this is not completely true, I know a few reatilers who were able to get 7 receivers on one account in the past few weeks, however I know someone else that tried doing it and was denied.

I believe this is more a case of the CSR not counting the number of receivers on the account and just adding another receiver instead of a policy change.

well - pretty easy to find out - the correct update on this - to call Dishnet and talk to CSR or even better ask for someone EVEN higher to try to "get to the bottom of this"

Just called Dish Network 1800333DISH and the CSR said that 6 receivers are the maximum allowed on an account. For what its worth this is a low end rep and she may not be aware of a policy change though.

Haller finally posts something positive about E* and it turns out it's probably a myth! :rolleyes:

Keep trying Bob. You'll get this good news thing right sooner or later. It's really not that hard, even with E*. :D

(Of course to get one of them - more likely better to call during Day Time Hours, Mon-Fri) :)

This is not a myth. It is true. 8 is possible, but in order for it to happen, all 8 must be plugged to the same phone line and the install must be verified by FSM or higher at the local DNSC or RSP. To process your request, ask for a supervisor to put you in touch with the Executive Office for full details.
