You be the judge...

Tonight on ESPNHD, in the middle of the screen during the LA/SF baseball game... I keep seeing a scroll that says "IF you are seeing a message that this game is blacked out, check your local listings or contact www.dishnetwork.com"

So I asked myself... Who is supposed to be seeing this ESPN scroll?

IF the game is blacked out, then you aren't seeing the scroll... IF (like me) the game is not blacked out, then you don't need it!

Yeah, I hadn't checked it... but it is kind of nice actually.

Funny thing is I don't even like baseball, but my father called before I switched the channel so I had the TV on mute and then saw the scroll go by.

Nice, but broken. It only has games on your local RSNs ... not all the RSNs in Multi-Sport nor games on VS.

I notice that it indicates the Padres at Cardinals game on channel 446 isn't blacked out but when I check it on the EPG it is blacked out.

I saw the exact same scroll message on NFL Network when they showed the 2 Seahawk pre-season games LIVE and I thought the EXACT same thing. "Who the fuq is even going to see this scroll if its blacked out?"

It would of been usefull had they scrolled it PRIOR to kickoff, but I only saw it once the game began.
