Retails for around $30.00 U.S. and can be found at your local Gamestop, EBX, or Electronics Boutique for folks looking for component video selector solutions providing their audio receivers don't allow for this. Not sure of its quality, but it looks decent.

EB will also have a more advanced system selector for $100.00 at the beginning of October with DD, component, composite, s-video, and ethernet switching built inside for gaming and home theater enthusiasts alike.

I use a $9 switchbox that I picked up at Radio Shack. So far, it works with no noticible video degredation. Been using it for about 6 months now, and still works great. I use it to switch the component signals from my 6000 and my Panasonic dvd player.

Anyone have a suggestion on a box that will switch HDTV component and optical digital audio? I bought a $200 Audio Authority unit which works, but a vertical line moves horizontally across my screen, very noticeable & very annoying. Also as this is an automatic sensing unit it is supposed to switch sources automatically, although this feature doesn't seem to be compatible with my Dish 6000 and my Cablevision SA 4200HD box.

A matter of fact to only time the switch-box switches sources itself is when my AC unit turns on its compressor, again very annoying. The line shows up whether the AC is on or off and the power is plugged into Monster clean power unit for the TV, both HD boxes and the switch itself.

How does one connect an AC compressor to a TV? :D

Sorry, couldn't resist.

You might want to check out the Inday RGB4X-R wideband 4X1 Video Switcher and the compaion DA4X-R SPDIF 4X1 audio Switcher.

The price was over $200 dollars (I can't remember exactly).

I bought them directly for Inday. The url is www.inday.com
