I've been having a real problem with my multiswitch lately and I'm trying to narrow down the cause. I have three receivers, a dual LNB Expressvu (Canadian) dish, and an SW44A multiswitch which I bought only a few months ago. The problems began when some channels showed up on some receivers but not on others. After I checked all of the connections, including disconnecting and reconnecting each wire, suddenly I had nothing at all on any receiver.
What's odd is that if I plug one of the satellite cables directly into a receiver, I still get no signal. That leads me to believe it might be an LNB issue. But then if I go to "check switch" from any of my receivers, no switch is found. That tells me it's a multiswitch issue.
Any ideas on how I can narrow down just where the problem is coming from?
