View Full Version : I might just get that $199 6000
right now I have a 721 and a Samsung 151 for OT HD. Never expected to do ANY sat HD because of equipment costs and lack of programming (don't care about premiums). Was gonna wait and save for the 921, but was also going to wait for that for almost a year from now until I was comfy with the unit and price...as well as getting a chance to check out the HD-Tivo maybe.
But now I figure I can sell my Samsung to virtually cover the 6000 cost and go ahead and get the E* HD pak.
anyone able to point out any serious flaws in this plan...considering around this time next year I will likely get an HD DVR of some kind?

Can DHP customer's get the 6000 at that price?
no specific info on that - but they did say "existing" customers.
If your paying I'd call you existing :hurah:

and 1 811 in october
Do they have limits ?
the limit is only on the 6000 @ the special $199 price.
Other than that I am sure E8 would appreciate any and all other purchases you would like to make

The 4 channels (Discovery, ESPN, HDNet, HDNet Movies) will be on 110. So you won't need that Wing satellite to get those 4. You would want a wing satellite (61.5 or 148) if you wanted HDPPV, HBO, SHO, HD Events, or qualified for CBS.
Since SuperDish will be a free upgrade soon, I'd plan on getting that and forego the Wing satellites.
