TV Asia has secured the United States broadcast rights to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India from Video Sound Inc, USA the Rights Holders for United States.
TV Asia will deliver USA viewers 23 one hour daily Highlights Program of coverage presenting India's most prestigious and lavish sports extravaganza from October 3 to 14, 2010. The coverage includes the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and will provide an unparalleled choice of Commonwealth Games competition across all 17 sports. TV Asia will also provide 12 half hour 'Road To Delhi' program with graphics and English language Commentary.
Mr. H.R.Shah, Chairman TV Asia said "South Asians along with immigrants from other Commonwealth Countries settled in United States will enthusiastically embrace the Games. The Event will showcase technological, entrepreneurial and infrastructure growth of India and will inspire Indians worldwide to be proud Indians". Mr. Shah urged everyone "to come out united and support the most historic event India has ever staged and showcase India, the rising super power! Let us all join together in one slogan
