Welcome to DBSTalk, John! :hi:

We know that the 301 will work with the superdish, but I'm not sure about the 2700. It's certain that the supported receivers will be announced next month on the Tech Chat on 10/13. If the 2700 is supported, at the very least you will need to add a DishPro Legacy Adaptor for it to work, as the LNBs on the superdish will be DishPro lnbs.

Your 301 is safe. Your 2700 is not, I believe.

I have a question about the superdish as well.. If I qualify for distant network packages, will I recieve those in HD? Thanks...

You might qualify for one of the CBS-HD feeds if you live in a city where the CBS affiliate is owned and operated by CBS. About 30% of the country. Other than that, no because there are no other network HD feeds available.
