What happened to the JVC HD Receiver?

I was under the impression that JVC, I think the model number is TU-9000, was going to release a new HD receiver. Has anyone heard any news on this receiver?

The JVC HD DVR seems to have joined the 211 non-8VSB Firewire-only HD rvcr and the IRD/DVD combo receiver in the DISH vaporware dept.

At CEDIA last week, JVC had their product on display and was saying it would arrive two months after the 921. They were also demonstrating D-VHS recording, or so some have said.

Whether this JVC product on display was the TU-9000 as originally spec'd, or a relabeled 921, I do not know.
