Is the Echostar TV incompatible with other HD tuners

The DVI will only work with a dish network rec. connected to it.

Hard to believe. I do believe it. but it is hard to. So once again I was wrong.

I would rather shop for my own tv, their are better deals out their for HDTV then the combo deal from E*, even after adding the price for a 811 or 921 to the price of the tv .
