Sony Receiver Problems

I recently purchased a Sony B50 receiver and it started locking up and making a sqeeling sound in short bursts. I got it replaced with another unit and although not as bad, is still acting up. I have an older sony receiver and it does not have that problem with both on a dual LNB.
Anyone experience this? If so, what did you do to resolve it?

Not familiar with Sony, but if it has an internal fan, thats the source of the squealing you hear. Replace it fast.
