Subject pretty much says it all. I currently have a two dish setup with Legacy LNB's (and two Legacy receivers). So when I go for the Superdish upgrade offer, will it include the new LNB's in the price?

A DISH rep couldn't tell me yes or no and also didn't know if it would include a new switch in the quoted price.

$200 MSRP for an elliptical hunk of metal BETTER include the LNBFs! Extra (external) switches are another question that (I think) no one can honestly answer at this point in time. We'll all have to wait and see.

I believe I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that regardless of what your current dish setup is, the SuperDish will come with the LNBs that are designed to fit the Superdish and to work with the Superdish. You will not be expected to cannibalize your current dishes to extract two Dish Pro LNBs. And if your current dishes had legacy LNBs, they wouldn't work anyway. Dish will not produce different versions of the Superdish with 3 or 1 LNBs and will not establish different pricing for multiple variations of the Superdish with different numbers of included LNBs.

Dish has a retrofit kit for the Dish 500 in which has been available for a while in which is a cheaper solution than purchasing the Dish 500 with all the lnbf's or twin. I would think that Dish would have a similar retrofit kit for the SuperDish as well in which would allow you to use the DishPro twin lnbf that you have in which would reduce the cost of the dish a bit. That should save at least $50. The only cost would be in the dish, mast/pole, the 3rd lnbf, and the switch required. I would think that they would come out with an all in one with switch built in as well to simplify things or have the switch built into the dish in the arm where it would stay out of the weather and still have two outputs to connect to.
