Several friends of mine have DishNetwork and are very happy
with the service and quality. I purchased a HDTV about two years ago, but
have only been using it with Digital Cable and a Pioneer progressive scan DVD player.
I have been wanting to get DishNet and HD Sat Receiver, but the price has been too much.
Now with the SuperDish and 811 receiver, I think I might be able to get it.
I have read alot of the posts that talk about pricing and all, but need people's opinions on
how much a 3 room setup might cost.
Currently, DishNet has the 3 room system 'free' (Dish, 3 301 receivers, installation).
This is what I'd like to do:
1) Get SuperDish, since it eliminates the need for the 2nd dish at 61.5.
2) Have one 811 receiver connected to HDTV.
3) Have two 301 (or new 311) receivers connected to the other two TVs.
Does anyone know (or guess) on about how much this might all cost?

As far as programming, I'm glad to see there is the new $9.99 programming package.
However, it would be nice if there was a complete package designed specifically for
HD users. This would include AC150 + ALL HD programing (CBS, HBO, SHO, Discovery,
HDNet, HDMovie, PPV, etc...) for a "special price". Not to mention it would be nice
when you get your local channels, those would be in HD...instead of having to use OTA to get it.

Thanks.

I made some calls, and since the 811 and SuperDish are not out yet, no one
could give any pricing....other than what was here in other threads.
Can anyone give an estimate of what they think it might cost for the 3 room
system I'd be interested in?
1) SuperDish.
2) One 811 receiver connected to a HDTV.
3) Two 301 (or newer 311) receivers connected to the other two TVs.

-Thanks.

With a one year commitment, you'd only have to pay for the 811, which would be $400. It might be even cheaper than that if they offer a discount on the 811 for new subs. It's quite possible.

That's about what I was thinking. Right now the promo they have is three 301s, dish,
and install for free. So I would imagine if you want a 811, it would be under $399,
since that the MSRP. I guess I'll just have to wait a few weeks until it can be ordered.
