Just joined in here, and I see no new updates as to audio loss on this new Dish that has been installed. I was on the 110 and 119 Dish and a seperate 61.5 dish for local channels. Now have the Turbo HD with 61.5, 72, and 77. I have lost at least 25% of my local channel volume and 30-35% of all my Dolby5:1 HD volumes. I have my main TV runing through power speaker and sub. 2 other tv's are just through the tv speakers and they are just as bad or maybe a tad worse.

The commericials are loud, they left that alone..

Just when was this upgrade on changing dishes around start. They notified me by phone 2 weeks ago, and I thought this must just of started a couple monthe back, but.....

Changing the Dish would have nothing to do with the volume level on the channels themselves.

Did you get a new receiver? Did anything else in your configuration change?

All I got was a Dish change, nothing else. I have admit that Dish HD's have always been spotty as to volume control, but nothing like this. In other words changing the Dish and directions to another point wouldn't or shouldn't do any thing as to lowering the audio?

I have been on Dish's HD program from the beginning (811 receiver I think) and have had Dish 5 years before that. Started with DirecTV, back when those crummy RCA remote controls were used.

Yeah, there's no reason re-pointing the Dish should change your volume levels that I can think of... Have you checked all of your connections since the configuration change?

How are you connected (HDMI, component, composite, etc.) for audio/video?
