Dish wont send 6000 to my house

I just called Dish and they said they wont even send the 6000 to my house it will be sent to a local retailer to have it installed. Is that the way the program works or did the csr make a mistake. It really wouldnt matter so much but there is no one real close and I have (moved) to get the Kansas City locals Any ideas on how to handle this in the best way

The promo doesn't officially start until 9/16 so the CSR may not be aware of the details.

Traditionally, 6000s and other high-end & special installation receivers are not sold by DISH direct but by local retailers. There wouldn't be anything in this promo for a retailer to make it worth his time & effort so I suspect they will arrange installation through DNSC, RSPs or "local" fulfillment companies.
