How many of you think Direc Tv should change Distant Nets from Time to time?

Am I the only one here who wishes that Instead of N.Y. and L.A. Distant Network Feeds Direc Tv would from time to time Switch around and Let people who qualify for Distants to receive Other Cities? I mean I wish that they would let us see Other Cities like Chicago, Or Miami, Or Dallas. New York and L.A. are alright but from time to time I wish they could switch things up. Many people don't like seeing New York News at 10 p.m. all the time. If they would just switch it up from time to time that would make alot of folks happier. I can remember they used to have Distant Feeds from all over. Now it's just N.Y. or L.A. All the time. I know this may never happen but it sure would be nice to see other cities from time to time.

If I WERE to qualify for Distant Nets, I would like to see:
ETZ: anything but NY locals
CTZ: Houston Locals
MTZ: Salt Lake Locals
PTZ: San Diego Locals
and while we are in dream land for even better tape delayed non DVR viewing lets throw in Anchorage and Honolulu just for fun.

To be honest, who cares? Alias is Alias and the Simpsons are the Simpsons. I could care less where the network station is from, just so long as I can get one.

Primestar used to have distant locals from different markets (i.e. ABC was NY and NBC was Philly, etc) They probably got the most popular station from the different markets where P*'s parent cable companies were from.
D* probably just had NYC and LA because it was a lot cheaper initially only needing 2 places to receive their east and west coast feeds. Now, with LIL it would be easier to have different markets, as they are now all up-linked, but also more difficult, in providing the locals to all the different LIL markets.

It would be interesting, especially when there is a big news story happening in another city.

They need to change the stupid law so you can get any or all distant nets if you wish. Why the hell the gov. telling you what you can and cannot watch. All because you may miss some stupid local comerical.
