When my local channels show up on SuperDish (schedule 4Q this year), will both the analog and DT versions be carried?

If you are asking if they will carry your locals in high definition the answer is "no". They will only carry one SD feed of each channel, whether the source is over the air analog or digital (probably analog). The lone exceptions to this are WCBS-DT New York and KCBS-DT Los Angeles on 61.5W and 148W satellites, respectively.

No, just one version, not sure which one but likely analog until no longer available, however they will be SD and not HD. HD uses too much bandwidth so we will never see local HD channels on satellite with current technology.

If I already have the East and West Coast Feeds from Dish, then I don't want to sign up for any local feeds when they become available so that I can at least still qualify for the WCBS and KCBS DT feeds? Or, will they take that away from me when my local channels are carried?

I recently dropped the east and west coast distant networks and kept my Atlanta locals. DISH left WCBS-DT on when I did that, so you get WCBS-DT or KCBS-DT with your locals if you qualify for distant CBS and ask for CBS HD.

Thanks. Does anyone have any idea if E* will broadcast the other networks?

Someone asked Charlie this on the last chat and he unenthusiastically said it was a possibility. I think the caller was specifically interested in ABC. The problem is that only about 1/3 of DISH customers can qualify for CBS HD and that's the easiest one to qualify for. ABC HD would be great for me, but even 80 miles from my "local" ABC station and without even a ghost of an OTA signal of any kind, analog or digital, I can't qualify for distant ABC anymore since the latest court ruling. Charlie seemed by his manner to suggest that it was hardly worth his effort.
