Greetings all! I have been a member of this board for over a year and am posting for the first time. Here is my situation. I have been with dish for 6+ years. Have a 501 and a ? (6+ years old) receiver with a Dish 500. I currently own a Sony KP-53HS tv and have a quality OTA anntena. I figure I qualify for the special deal $149 on the 6000. I also have local HD OTA programming in my area (Columbia MO). So, with all of that said, here are my questions.
Should I wait for the Superdish to receive local channels (4th qtr) and the 811 or try and get the 6000 with the 8vsb for $149(if this offer is true)?
I would like the locals because I don't get FOX OTA. Can you limit the locals to a certain channel or do you get the whole package?
Will my current cabling for my house work for HD...think it's RG5?
