The 2 Dishes

When i signed up for Dish (they are coming on Oct 5) the CSR told me with a second dish i could recieve UPN and WB. I understand all that, but i was searchin around the forums and i saw some stuff about being HD ready with 2 dish 500's. Why is this??

Actually for HD you will eventually need a completly different DISh called the SurperDish. It looks at 110 and 119 as your DISH 500 does but also at another location. In fact the new location (s) require a different type of LNB. A Dish 500 will not receive them at all.

Yeah, there are some HD stations that are on the Wing satellite that your 2nd Dish will be lookng at. So if you wanted to view HBO-HD or a few others, then you would be all set.

Now, like Geronimo stated, in a few weeks it will all be old news since the SuperDish will become available and you'll be able to get all of the same HD plus more but with a single Dish solution.
