Dish 500, how much sky view clearance?

Hello,
I just moved to a new house, and the south side of my house is blocked by a 3 story house and trees, I have a small clearance (12 feet) of the southern sky in the direction that I see other 500 dishes pointing.

My question is how much clearance do I need?

Carlos Whats your new zip code? All I can do is give you angles and azimuth.

It really depends on your elevation, but I can tell you that you probably won't need as much as you might think. 12 feet might be enough, worth a shot if you have a buddy with Dish.
