New promotion

I keep hearing of a promotion change on Oct. 18th. Where can I get info on this or is it another rumor to keep us hanging. If its true it would be nice if a larger than 40g were included in the tivo option. Any thoughts??

Directv is increasing the buy down to dealers on Tivos so they will be able to offer it for $100 or less. The design of the Tivo is not changing so a box with a 40 gig hard drive is still going to have a 40 gig. Due to the increased buy down a Samsung with 120 gig should be offered at a lower cost but not at $100.

Does anyone know what if any new programming promotions that will be offered after October 17 when the current NFL promotion expires?

well they do have a 3 room system deal now

I should have waited to get Directv Now that they have that Special I am buying a tivo and giving my receiver to my mom :)
