Victory Sports Network on DBS???

Hello all, I just registered but have been an avid reader of posts on this web site.

Curious to now if anyone has any info on Victory Sports Network? It is broadcast out of Minnesota and will cover sports for the surrounding states.

I have tried to contact Dish and Direct to see if there is a deal that has or will be struck between these companies with no luck.

If anyone has any info on VSN I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Ive already emailed Directv on this one......Got the usual canned response that they cant comment on channel additions in advance....which is the usual way Directv deals with channel additions....they usually either show up one day unannounced or they give a few days notice.....E* might do things differently I dont know I have D*

A thread on DBSForums stated that DirecTV doesn't plan on carrying this channel. Of course, there is nothing official saying this, and who knows where this info (correct or not) came from.

The same thread stated Dish is "negotiating" with Victory Sports. Of course, they have been "negotiating" with YES Network for 3-some-odd years now, and "negotiating" for NFL Sunday Ticket since 19?? ....
